A Strong Academic and Clinical Foundation
Saadia Jones’ path to nephrology began with a deep commitment to medical education and patient health. She first earned an Associate of Applied Science and an Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy, building a strong clinical foundation early on in her career. She then pursued a Bachelor of Biology, which helped her deepen her understanding of the human body and disease processes.
Driven to continue her journey in medicine, Saadia Jones earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, where her passion for nephrology truly began to take shape. During her clinical training, she found herself drawn to the complex and vital role the kidneys play in overall health and became fascinated by the intricacies of renal care.
Now, as a board certified PA through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Saadia Jones is equipped with the knowledge, skills and heart to deliver outstanding care to patients with kidney disease.

Although Saadia Jones is new to Richmond Nephrology Associates, she’s no stranger to the Richmond area. Having grown up in the community, she brings a local’s appreciation for the region’s parks, culture and people. In her free time, Saadia enjoys fusion cooking, reading and taking walks with her husband—often exploring the same green spaces she’s loved since childhood.
Her return to Richmond as a healthcare provider represents a full-circle moment: a chance to give back to the community that helped shape her.
