The doctors at Richmond Nephrology Associates have seen me through some scary, life-threatening situations resulting from my kidney transplant. Things can get bad really fast, and they are quick to treat problems. They are never too busy to answer questions and have a friendly chat about our experiences over the years.
I was in severe pain from a kidney infection and when I went here they did everything they could to get me out of my misery. I was very impressed with the dedication of the staff to do what is needed to help out their patients.
A year ago Dr. Kunaparaju literally saved my husband’s life. He was able to immediately diagnose my husband with the rare and difficult-to-diagnose disease, Al Amyloidosis. The key to survival is early detection. Unfortunately, this disease is often missed until it is quite advanced. Dr. Kunaparaju is a rare combination of intelligence and compassion and my husband and I highly recommend him.
Kunaparaju is also an internist and he looked at my whole health history and was able to piece together how various medications (prescription and over-the-counter) along with other health factors contributed to my kidney and anemia problems. He was very thorough and listened carefully. Took his time and is very knowledgeable. Excellent doctor.
Dr. Hartle is such a nice doctor. Very informative and easy to talk to.
Dr. Baig is the best. Treats his patients with care and compassion.
Dr. Hirsch is a very thorough and professional physician. He takes time with his patients and really cares about them. He has a great bedside manner.
Dr. Baig treated me several years ago. He is very kind and a great doctor. He always treated me with respect.
Staff is always professional, informative, and on time. The doctors and NPs have provided excellent care over the years. Hopefully you will never need a nephrologist but if you do, this is the place to go.
I love this practice. Dr. Acker, Kendall, nurses and staff are always so helpful and knowledgeable.
I had an appointment with Dr Patel today. He was very thorough and explained things in terms of my understanding. His MA was very congenial as was his front desk receptionist! I highly recommend Dr Patel for nephrology issues!
The office staff was pleasant and accommodating. Upon arrival and check in I only was in the waiting room about 5 minutes before they called me back. The nurse was absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful with all my needs. Dr. Koenig was also wonderful. This was my first time meeting him and I was pleasantly surprised by how prepared he was for me at that visit.
He’d read my previous medical records and was on top of my conditions as well as any questions I had for him. Dr. Koenig was down to earth with a calm demeanor. When the visit was over he escorted me to the check out location and personally made sure I was taken care of. It’s great to know I have such an attentive and educated team at RNA. I’d recommend this office and the people working there to anyone looking for a new nephrologist or wanting to switch doctors. A round of applause for all!
