Beginning May 2025, Beth brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and experience to our practice—along with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients managing kidney-related conditions and chronic illnesses.
A Strong Academic Foundation
Beth Hensley’s path into medicine started with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina, where she developed a deep interest in the sciences and healthcare. She then pursued her passion for patient care at East Carolina University, where she completed her training in Physician Assistant Studies. Not stopping there, Beth went on to earn her Master of Health Sciences from Duke University, further enhancing her clinical expertise and leadership skills in the healthcare field.

Beth Hensley is a Board Certified Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and received special recognition for her outstanding knowledge in surgical care. Her broad range of skills and depth of experience reflect her dedication to continual learning and excellence in patient care.

Beth Hensley brings extensive experience across a variety of specialties, having worked in family medicine, pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine and critical care. Her well-rounded clinical background gives her a unique perspective on complex and chronic health conditions, making her an excellent fit for nephrology care.
She is particularly passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and their families. Beth understands that managing chronic kidney disease (CKD) and other long-term conditions requires not only expert medical care but also empathy, trust and open communication. Beth Hensley’s patient-centered approach aligns perfectly with our values at Richmond Nephrology Associates.
A Personal Touch
Outside of the clinic, Beth Hensley is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys spending time with her family. You’ll often find her on the sidelines cheering for her children at sporting events or proudly supporting her alma mater—the South Carolina Gamecocks—especially during football and women’s basketball season.
Beth also enjoys the outdoors and stays active with hobbies like hiking, jogging, gardening and yard work. Her vibrant, approachable personality and love for her community are just a few of the reasons we’re excited to have her join our team.
